Parasound HCA-1200 red protect light stays on

The amplifier worked perfectly for more than 20 years. Recently, my puppy closed the sliding door on the audio cabinet in which the amp was operating; when I discovered it several hours later, the protect light was on, and now it will not go off. I opened the amp and checked all the fuses, and poked around for any obvious problems, and all looks normal under the dust. I assume that without ventilation, the heat level rose in the cabinet, and that the amp is, literally, cooked. Is there a quick fix, or does this need a technician? Thanks, in advance.

Bring it to a tech, a 20 year old amp probably needs some caps replaced anyway.
