I had no idea he lived one town away from us in MA -- for 35 years.

Oh man, that's terrible. I saw the J. Geils Band in 1975, lots of energy, they were on top of the world. Full House is a great live album. Peter Wolf still can bring it but the kids I work with never heard of The J. Geils Band.

Like I said in the other thread,"Great band, too bad most folks only know them from their 80's stuff."If you can't hear a difference, don't waste your money.

Rest in Peace J. Geils.
The band was pure energy on stage.
I was fortunate enough to see them 3x live.I refuse to argue with idiots, because people can't tell the DIFFERENCE! -
Saw them in '70 or '71 at Jubilee, an annual spring concert at UNC, then bought their album. Very tight and solid, though not flashy. Magic Dick could really play the harp. I never really liked their turn at pop music in the 80's, though it was their most commercially successful period."Science is suppose to explain observations not dismiss them as impossible" - Norm on AA; 2.3TL's w/sonicaps/mills/jantzen inductors, Gimpod's boards, Lg Solen SDA inductors, RD-0198's, MW's dynamatted, Armaflex speaker gaskets, H-nuts, brass spikes, Cardas CCGR BP's, upgraded IC Cable, Black Hole Damping Sheet strips, interior of cabinets sealed with Loctite Power Grab, AI-1 interface with 1000VA A-L transformer
