Right channel issues again

This evening, I decided to re-arrange my room so that my new Parasound wouldn't have any gear stacked on top of.

Once I fired the system back up, the right channel was gone!

This is too similar to what happened with that Carver TFM-42. The stereo was simply working last night and then the right side is gone.

Maybe there is something going on in my AA DLC preamp? I have two sources and that ain't it.

    I HEAR YA MAN!

I have no help for you, but this happened to my GFA-545 II, the right channel just stopped working. Let me know what you find!!!

It sucks, I feel your pain!
    - Not Tom ::::::: Any system can play Diana Krall. Only the best can play Limp Bizkit.

I would get the system simple, and start from there. Drop everything but the pre-amp, CDP and the amp. If it happens then, start checking cables. If it is happening on the right side....the swap every cable asscoiated with the right with the left.
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

    Mark,

Right now, that all the system I have! I can't go any simpler.

I'll do the cable swap deal Tuesday night. Gotta watch the Ramblin' Wreck beat UConn again tonight!

    Mark,

You would be correct. One of my nice little AQ Copperheads has apparently bit the dust. Luckily, I had a higher-end pair of Monsters laying around to fill in for now.

Life is good again, but I can hear a difference with the Monster in the there. Not quite as smooth, although I think the bass may have improved, but that might be simply having a good connection to run through as well.

Possibly, but what's done is done. I'll admit to probably being a moron about this, but I'm sure some of y'all have been down my road before. Oh well, live and learn. Besides, this would likely fall into one of life's cheaper lessons! ;)

It's fixed, so that's all that matters. Glad to hear it Wes!
