Surroundbar 5000 remote not working

I just bought this unit and set it up. The included remote will not work at all. I followed the troubleshooting guide and replaced the battery. Still nothing. Although, the instructions say the battery is a cr2025 and the remote says cr2032 (which is what was in it and what I replaced it with). I can program it to work with my tv remote. I tried clearing the programmed remotes. Any other suggestions, or is this remote just defective?

In all likelihood the remote is defective. If you contact Polk's CS department at: 1-800-377-7655 select option 1 they will help.
