Hey all,
Have a Polk Woodbourne speaker and I LOVE it.
Problem is when I'm playing a movie and using the TOSlink dolby digital input, it just stops working and sound shuts off. The speaker stays powered on, just no sound.
I have to turn off speaker and turn it back on and sound will resume.
I've replaced TOSlink cables, reset the TV and did a firmware update on the speaker. Same issues.
My setup is as follows:
LG 55UHD6150 4K TV. I used the toslink from the TV to the speaker.
I have an nvidia shield streaming box, HDMI to TV
HD cable box, HDMI to TV
panasonic BluRay player, HDMI to TV.
So, HDMI goes from various sources to HDMI inputs on TV.
Fibre optic TOSlink from TV goes to my Polk Woodbourne.

Hello,
Welcome to Polk's forum. It's probably best to contact Polk's CS department tomorrow at: 1-800-377-7655 select option 1. They'll help you figure it out.
Regards, Ken -
I've done that, thank you.
I have found a repair depot only to find out the repair technician is gone until end of April.
I really like this speaker.
I hope it's an easy fix. It's doing the same thing on Bluetooth as well.
Plays for 30 or so minutes and music stops playing. I have to power toggle the speaker and reconnect my bluetooth phone. Why doesn't it connect automatically? Bonkers...
