PW,
Of course I was there. I also made the trip to Atlanta for the SEC Championship against them tough 'dawgs and have been a season ticket holder since 1987.
Yes, the sound was deafening. I wanted to bring my decibel meter but I figured I wouldn't be able to get it past security and didn't want to take the chance of having it confiscated. Easy 110 - 120 db at times for sure.
I was one of the "lucky" season ticket holders to get tickets. People were begging me to sell them at outrageous prices and I was thinking how much gear I could buy with the money but I couldn't do it. I wanted to go to the game and I am glad I did.
I had some pretty good seats at the 27 yard line. Here's a pic I took. I got some other ones on Bourbon Street but those wouldn't be appropriate for the forum

Yep ... I was a fan this year ... They were a really intersting team this season and I remember thinking mid way or so through the season that they were one of the most under rated teams in the country.
We were a level down from you and on the 35 more or less. Even though the game was in N.O. I was surprised how much LSU colors dominated inside. Seemed like 3 or 4 to 1.
