    What's your alma matta?

I'd appreciate it if you wouldn't ask personal questions about my mother.
BUT.....if you must know, my mother Alma, she has a bad case of shingles right now....all over her scalp and forehead :(
    But, thanks for asking!

LOL ... Who knows, but even complete idiots and bold faced liars like AL ( I invented the internet ) Gore "teach" at Columbia these days. Like WTF could he possibly teach ? How to turn your country into an insecure place by cutting the military and intelligence agencies to the bone ? or maybe ... How to contribute to the bubble of the late 90's that resulted in a variety of wonderful things.

    James Madison HS
    Brooklyn, NY

One day my dad met me for lunch by the school. By lunchtime, the sort of daily anti-war (Vietnam) protest/riot was in full swing, and had kind of encompassed the intersection where we were eating lunch. As the crowd kind of surged back and forth, it was obvious my classmates had something on fire, at the end of one of the long poles used to open up the windows in the old schools. It was a cops uniform hat (I'll bet THAT was one pissed off cop). My dad just looked at me, because he knew, and I knew, where I would've been if we weren't eating lunch together.

One day out of three years at James Madison.

First, let's all blame spyderman for starting another political thread...

Columbia had "Up Against the Ivy Wall", but I'd think it and Brown would both have to take a backseat to Berkeley, liberal-wise...

Yes, I'm sure several people did (including myself). I've just gotten so used to people on the board mis-spelling everything that I ignore it and do my best to figure out what they meant to say...

More interesting would be what did he mean by his first comment...
