Magnifi mini remote mute button changes inputs

I have recently purchased a magnifi mini. From the start I noticed the mute button on the magnifi's remote acts to cycle through the input settings and not to mute the volume. I have had the remote replaced and this is still the case (on only two occasions has it muted the sound out of a large number of attempts). Can anyone advise? Thanks

Welcome to Polk's forum. That's pretty unusual, it would be best to contact Polk at: 1-800-377-7655 select option 1. They'll figure it out.
