hmmm $1,800.....Not bashing on your speakers, but that may be tough.
Expecting to get 100% money back on mods is a tough proposition.
Based on my method of valuation, that seems to work on all the vintage Polks.......
More like $1,200 at best. Do not take this as a knock on your speaker, they look fantastic, but simply its very rare anyone will pay full cost for mods on an older used speaker.
We found a set of the Bigger SRS's, got them for under $1,000
Or....You should just roll your eyes and move on. If someone thinks they are worth it they will buy them. If not, they won't. But this kind of comments in a for sale post are not welcome.
You have any idea of what common sense means?
I was trying to relate my own personal experience in selling and buying modded stuff and the disappointment in not being able to recoup money spent, that meant something to the owner (me) and usually does not carry onto most potential buyers.
Basically saying it sucks that mods are less valued by buyers than sellers.
Sorry you took it to be something negative.
You could have PM'ed me with your concerns or questions about your not understanding my motives.
No discourtesy was intended towards the OP. Hope you are able to honestly say the same to me.
No common sense. We already established that. But a bit slow also?
Again PM me.

I understand that they may be priced a little higher than some think they are worth, but I'll let potential buyers make that decision.
I figure if you can find a nearly perfect original pair, and upgrade them to this condition/sound and do it cheaper, then by all means jump on the chance.
Remember there are over $750 just in upgrades..
I did the same mods to my 1.2tl and they brought $2600-these are the next best thing and some would argue better in the imaging department.
I am willing to negotiate the price, but I can never go up, only down!
I appreciate all the feedback at any rate.
Paul -
Paul, I recently sold a near mint pair of modded 2.3TL's for $1800. Cash.
You are not out of line on your price. -
Not out of line at all Paul. If my cash was not tied up at the moment these would of been bought this whole nonsense would be for nought.
Well worth the cost he is asking -
This is one of those pairs of modded SDA's that puts the inspiration back into this hobby for me. Great price, amazing work on the side panels, worth every penny to whoever ends up with these.
GLWTS -
Well thank you for the kind words, if they don't sell by Friday I'm gonna keep them and put them in a 2nd music room. That will give me an excuse to use some vintage electronics I have sitting around!

Sale pending...
