Polk RT16 with a distortion

I purchased the RT16 back in 1998. they have been very happy with them up until recently when I noticed an distortion coming from one of the 7.5 inch woofers. I contacted Polk support to see if they were available but Unfortunately they are not. The rep told me there is a company that makes replacements and that the replacements were very close to the factory specs. I did some research into this and came across a forum that said to try turning the driver 180 degrees so I gave it a try. this actua;;y worked the speakers sound as good as the once did. Give it a try it won't cost ypu a thing.
