My Magnify Soundbar turns itself off every 10 minutes while in use. Seems to be a common problem. Does Polk have a solution?

Hello,
Welcome to Polk's forum. The usual reason for that is the automatic on/off function is being triggered by a too low inout signal from your source. Can you describe how you have connected your system together?

Hi. The sound bar is connected to my Sony Bravia television with the optical cable provided by Polk. It has been connected for about 2 weeks.
The television volume is off. -
I believe what is recommended is to turn the TV's internal speakers off, but leave the set's volume set at a moderate level. This sends a strong enough signal to the bar to keep the auto on/off from engaging.

Hi. I've turned off the television's internal speakers. Have tried with the television volume at zero and at various other levels but no change. The sound bar keeps shutting off every 10 minutes.

Then the best thing to do is contact Polk's CS department at: 1-800-377-7655 select option 1, I'm sure they can help.
