B&K amp HUM/buzz

I've been starting to notice that my b&k 7250 amp is causing my speaker to hum/buzz on power up. Seems like Its also isolated to just one channel. Its real quick then goes away and doesn't happen until I turn off the amp and turn it back on.

Should I take it in for a check up? I just hope it's nothing major and is easily fixed.

    I would switch out the interconnect cable related to the channel with the hum first. Sometimes a poorly constructed cable can give you the same results.

    Other than that, a cap maybe has seen it's last days. Pop the top and look for any leaking, bloated caps. Most any audio repair shop can fix that if your not comfortable doing it.

    if your amp has xlr connections make sure the jumper is installed correctly
