I purchased the LSiM 707 fronts, LSiM 706 center and LSiM 702 F/X rears but my wife does not think she will like the look of the LSiM 702 F/X speakers on the wall. It seems to her that she likes the look of the LSiM 703 book shelf speakers n stands for the rear! Would I be giving up much to go with the LSiM 703's?

The 702s will disappear better for surround effects if they are mounted on the wall well above seated ear level and the 703s will be more direct. I use 703s as surrounds because wall mounted 702s are not an option for me because of windows. If the 703s are used as surrounds it's best to get them as high as safely possible on stands. Mine face straight forward from the rear in an equal plane with the front speakers. I am happy with the setup the way I have it.
I use the 45" tall version of these as stands:
