It's a good price but I would not have paired that center channel up with the BP8060's. You should have got the 8060 center or even the bigger 8080.
Reason is the center channel is so important in your system. It's on just about all the time while watching movies. It's the hardest working speaker in the system.

  • Yes I know the center speaker is the hardest working speaker and probably most important speaker of a HT setup but I bought it just to try it. I already have a complete rtia series HT setup with the csia6 as my center. I have been looking around for both a 8060 and 8080 but they are still around 1000 for either or. If I drop that kind of money on a center I can probably put that towards a good sub.

  • Just got the speaker in and three it right into the csia6 place. Wow. I may just rearrange my HT and use the rtia9 in a 2 channel setup.

If you where not planning on using the correct center channel for the 8060's, why did you get them? I don't feel the 8060's need a sub with them. They hit very hard and sound fantastic especially with the matching center. I suggest getting it.

I don't understand what you're trying to say. I bought the cs8040hd to go with my bp8060 towers.

The tweeter should be the same, so it matches fairly well. The 80xx series should match with any other 80xx series. You just get more or less midbass/bass.
