polk monitor 7's and introduction

Hey everyone, I'm Bryan been into audio for about 10 years, did a year in audio tech school. I've went through a series of speakers and I now have a pair of monitor 7's from 1990. I think these are great, they just sound good. I recapped the crossover with clarity caps and replaced resistors with mills. I got all the parts on order for the TL mod (thanks to david, westmassguy) with the exception of the rdo-198 tweeters. Polk is back ordered until February, so I was wondering if anyone had a pair they want to sell? Glad to be here, there is a lot of good information available, its awesome.

  • Welcome to the Forum Bryan! Monitor 7s are great speakers! Until you hit 50 posts you won't be able to use the WTB or respond to FS posts. Someone might be able to respond directly here but best bet is to stick around for a bit, get your count up then hit the Flea Market.

That's incorrect. The only restriction is 100 posts are required before someone can sell. Anyone can post a WTB.
