Monitor 10a w/ sl1500 tweets

Newbie to the Club as i only recently acquired my first set of Polk Monitor 10As. After a few months of getting to know them and liking them a great deal I'm now contemplating giving the rdo194 replacement tweeters a go as I find the sl1500s a bit peaky on some material. While there exists an untold number disussions concering the various permutations of Polk tweeters and their replacements, I'm finding nothing to confirm that the rdo194 is in fact a match for sl1500s.
Can anyone confirm that they are indeed compatible or point me in the right direction if other modifications are required?
Thanks

Welcome to CP. I believe you mean SL1000 Tweeters, like this:
If so, the RDO-194-1 is the correct replacement. The inset in the front baffle will have to be modified. The 194s were designed for drop-in replacement for the SL2000's bezel. The SL1000s are slightly different.

Thanks for tbe response...and no, I do indeed mean the sl1500. The serial # is 10A 119263 & 4. Apparently they were only used for a few months. A quick Club Polk search of "sl 1500" prodices only a handful of hits that turn out to be nothing mote than simple references to their exisyence. Nevet are they i ncluded in a comparison of the various tweetets or for replacement compatability.
I suppose the exact question should be was the sl1500 sized like the 1000 or the 2000. -
Honestly, I've never heard of it before. Could you post a photo or two?Home Theater/2 Channel:

@westmassguy These show up when googling SL1500. Looks like the tweets used with the later year monitor 4s. Not sure if that's right for the M10s though.
EDIT*** From what I can see online (Fleabay) they do come from the M4s.

It's weird though as they normally look pretty square to me and these look like the SL2000 shape. I would figure it would be good to drop in an RD0-194, think he should call Polk tech support to confirm there are no changes in the cross over that would prevent the RD0 from dropping in without Xo mods?Just a dude doing dude-ly things

Sorry gang, just pulled them again and they are indeed the sl1000s. I suppose the inundation of all the model numbers did a number on me. I even jotted it down in my notes as the sl1500.
That being so, looks as though a little dremel work will be in order if I wish to go the 194 route.
