My sub has been either rattling or popping. I attached a YouTube short 10s vid of the noise.
Using Marantz SR5010 with Audessey. Volume goes 0-98 and it is playing at 36.5. So just over 1/3 loudness. Sorry it is a dark video.

Any ideas?

That sounds like the rear suspension of the woofer, called the spider, has either come unglued from the basket or the material has torn. The sound you are hearing is the voice coil former hitting the pole plate.

Video is above of the issue I explain below.
OK. I have been blowing off the issue since I have been very busy. That being said, the issue of popping and is worsening. I pulled the speaker again and when I push down on it the spider seems to have weakened quite a bit and popping. So, I am fairly sure this is the issue. Should I just buy a placement speaker from parts express or just fix the spider?
I did inspect for tears etc and found nothing.
I have read the previous comments above.

Yeah it sounds a lot like my SRT subs did before I had the good people at Polk repair the spiders.
Take your index finger and tap around the dust cover. On mine you could hear the rattle.
