Help Needed on My Basement Home entertainmet Speaker options
Hello Experts,
I need your advise on my basement HT set up. The size is big and open . almost 30feet x 50 feet . open and not closed room . Walk out basement . Planning the following .
1) Yamaha TSR-5810 7.2-Channel Network AV Receiver from Costco . 7.2
2) Silver Ticket - 120 inches - white .
3) Projector - Benq or epson..
Any suggestions here ?
Now my challenge is on speakers. I dont have any knowledge here . I see these super deal from adorama..
1) Front - Either 707-5 -2 or 705-2 or 703 - 2 numbers
2) Centre - 704-1
3) Surround Sound- Middle - 702- pair
4) Back - 703- 2 or Sr2-2 or T15-2 or T220-2 or any other.
Now my questions .
1) Which ones are best for buck for front
2) If we have 707 at front , do we still need centre and subwoofer. ( Info told we dont need subwoofer)
3) IN the middle, do we need surrounds or can do away and put smaller options.
4) what to buy at back... 703 or 220 etc
5) Still do i need sub ?
6) best speaker wire from tiger direct or micro centre or fry? or online advice?
7) Best HDMI wire ?
8) Any other advice ?
My budget initially was $3k for whole HT .. but now these speakers alone 703-2,704-1,702-2 costs me--$2600. .. If I can come to $1500 for speakers.. that is good . kindly help me..
Thanks
Simha

There was a 50% off "Family and Friends" sale two weeks ago from Polk for the LSiM series of speakers. It ended last week. Vendors such as Adorama had sale prices. I do not know if they are still in effect.
I have heard the LSiM703 speakers. They are very good.
There is a new series of HT speakers from Polk, the Signature Series. I have not heard them yet.
I'll let others answer your other questions.
