Like any show that lasts 4 or more seasons, Dexter is inconsistent, but the first couple seasons were very good, imo.

Personally i was only slightly dissapointed by the final season 8. Other than that I thought it was one of the more consistent and compelling shows that went more then four seasons...

Just started watching Flaked with Will Arnett. Whimsical little partially self-biographical Netflix series based in Venice, CA.

Wilfred is pretty good, too, if you've not yet seen it.

Not enjoying the recent orange is the new black. We did finally finish the most recent bloodline, it was decent but not as good as the first two seasons.

I agree Damages was excellent as was the Killing.

Another Netflix original that I really liked was The Ranch. The pace of the story is very odd, and the one liners are forced, but after the characters are developed the show feels more sincere. By the third episode I was hooked and it has become my favorite Netflix show thus far.

I love The Ranch. Super good show.

I was telling my wife last night how I find that jenji's shows. Weeds for example was good the first couple seasons then got stupid. Same now with orange.

we both loved that show also.

Kinda of a Twilight zone, but british, and more based on technology of the near future.

If no one's mentioned it yet, I stumbled across Ozarka few weeks ago, with Jason Bateman and Laura Linney and Richie Valens' brother ("It was either that or Richie Zuela?!?") Haven't finished it yet, but enjoyed it so far.

Also kinda neat and a little cheesy, but with funny moments later on as the characters develop, Revolutionfrom JJ Abrams. Couple of people from Lost and Gus from Breaking Bad is in it. You wanna smack a couple of the characters because they're annoying, but they get better in Season 2 when they all settle in, develop a bit, and start really playing off each other, especially Miles and Monroe.

  • Just binged Ozark. Highly recommended by me!! I was a big Breaking Bad fan, so the twists and turns seemed familiar and I don't think it will last as long as BB did.

Half way through season 2. The subtitles can be a bit tedious, but it's a great series.
