It is with a heavy heart that Nooshin and I mourn the passing of our beloved Himalayan cat Mozart. He was full of life until the very end, but a very fast moving liver cancer came up quickly and consumed his love of food, even tuna. He was a beautiful cat, with a warm and friendly heart, and a sense of gravitas that seemed to fit his regal personality well. Though not confirmed with any certainty, we were told that his father was the cat known as Jinxy from the "Meet the Parents" franchise.

    My thanks to everyone. Nooshin is devastated by this one. Mozart was her first pet that was all her own. She pampered that cat, but over the past couple years, as her career has taken off, she feels now that she did not give him enough love and attention.

    The emotional surges of being pregnant are certainly not helping her out. I hope our dogs will help her snap out of this... they are feeling his absence too.

    We lost Loki a little over a year ago, Edward exactly 1 month after him and then we laid Bethany to rest exactly 1 year and 1 day after her brother Loki passed.

    People who don't have pets don't understand the weight of the loss. All my best to the both of you.
