Well well well... They finally arrived

  • All the comparisons are meaningful. If some other company's "philosophy" can give you $31k sound for $4-5k, that's pretty worth knowing.

    I would expect the Oaks to sound less refined than the top of the line. Audioquest would be subverting their product line otherwise.

    @BlueFox

    What about the previous Aeros line from Shunyata, some say they are better than the current zitron cables.

    My local good buddy has these are we are going to be doing an a/b against the WELs.

    I don't have any idea about their previous line. I suspect they are working on their next product line since the Cable Company has been running a 20% off sale on the ICs and speaker cables.

    Personally, as an engineer and customer, I have been impressed with their Zitron technology. The ability to run a 10KHz square wave through the cables with negligible loss and distortion speaks well of being able to send the audio signal through the cable with negligible loss and distortion. Which is exactly what I want from a cable.

    I really appreciate they explain the science and technology in their products versus just marketing hype and bling.

    Works great for Siltech cables, and others. :)

    Yes I have read threads on WBF with your posts re the sine wave. While not a complete picture of how real world response is with a speaker's swinging impedance response etc... It is a good data point.

    My friend is a big shunyata believer, I go to him for shunyata info.

    I just happen to like and enjoy bill lows creations.

    I'm sure both are good.

    So many others out there... Kubala transparent Tara siltech etc.

    It's awesome
