Got a scare this weekend

Options
I sat down to listen to some music Saturday evening, everything had been warming up for several hours.

I always turn the volume down on the preamp or check it to make sure before I start playing music then use the remote to adjust to desired levels, anyway went to turn the volume knob on my Joule Electra preamp and the volume knob spun freely with no resistance at all.

Knowing is was fine last weekend I started integrating family members but no one had touched anything.

I went to see if the remote worked and it did.

Later that evening I decided to check again and the knob fell into my hands, The set screws that hold the knob on the shaft just needed tightened.

I guess October is a scary month.
