Hey guys I have One more question about re-gluing my ripped spider to the Cone and former. I am wondering about your recommendations for which type of glue or eproxy I should use? Aleens tacky glue and 5 minutes epoxy have been recommended so far. Five-minute a proxy seems to me like it would be much better since it would dry hard as opposed to tacky but I am open to more suggestions. Please help.

Tacky glue doesn't dry tacky. It dries clear and flexible. It's called "Tacky" glue because it can be used like contact cement in certain situations. When I re-edge or re-foam a woofer, I apply a thin coat to the edge of the new surround, and the cone or basket frame. Let it sit for a few minutes, and it becomes tacky like contact cement.
This allows the new surround to "grab", and makes positioning it much easier.Home Theater/2 Channel:

Hey guys I ended up using the 5 minute epoxy and it seems to have worked great. Both my subwoofer and an outdoor speaker that I fixed have been working great for a few days now.
