Last night I picked up (early) my new yammie rxv540. Got home took apart the old system hooked it up in the bedroom for my wife, then hooked up the yammie. Was up till 11pm setting things up not done either.....woke up this morning at 4am couldnt sleep kept thinking of the receiver and set up in my head was it done right did I do this did I do that, what about this, that....geeze thats bad when you can get back to sleep cause you got new gear and can't wait to play....like a kid at xmas !!!!

What about those sleepless nights before buying new gear, the times you think about audio on the way to work/home:). I think about this stuff 24/7 even at school. I read audio stuff on the net during my spares. The madness won't stop! aaaaaaah!

Hey Guys,

You forgot about girls and their toys!! I've been lovin audio and doing installs for years. I always enjoyed re-tubing equipment with my Dad when I was a little girl. He wanted a boy so bad, but he got me!! My husband hates it when I get the upgrade bug! He knows it will usually cost more $$$. Luckily, he always caves in and lets me do what I want. This is a fun hobby!!

at work Im on forums, then I go home try some tweeks out, go to forums in the evenings, read manuals over and over on the bus on the way to work or at lunch...

shoot your hub, should be happy he has a girl who's into AV wish mine was...in my next life it will be a pre-requisit to dating !! haha

Ooops ... My Bad ... I guess we need to be referring to the Spouse Approval Factor in the future.

Although my wife never gives me a problem about getting new gear etc. or how much space it takes in MOST rooms, it would be a lot more dangerous if we both were constantly upgrading.
