  • That didn't take long.
    Why did you sell if I may ask

    I like the P5 quite a bit actually. I want it in a different color which is why I sold it.

    @Nightfall - I love your avatar.

    Due to Stephen King's casting choices, I am not looking forward to the film interpretation of the Dark Tower series.

    WOW!!! The Dark Tower series.. I followed up till wizards n glass, then kind of forgot about it.. I was always hoping they would do a sweet animated series of the books, and I mean badass animation, on an adult level...

    Stephen King's near death experience expedited his production of the last books in the series. While good, they aren't on the same level, to me, as the first four books. Wizard & Glass is probably my favorite of the series but the Wastelands and the Drawing of the Three are great too. The Gunslinger is actually the hardest one for me to get through. All in all, the best series of books out there in my opinion. I'm really unhappy with the direction the film adaptation is taking and they've lost 2 prominent directors in the process already: http://www.indiewire.com/2016/05/the-dark-tower-stephen-king-reveals-why-the-film-isnt-a-straight-adaptation-of-the-book-290225/

    Douglas Adams is up there as well with The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. The movie version was absolutely horrible and I believe that everyone involved wanted it to be good out of respect for Douglas and his works.

    I also enjoyed the Harry Potter books by J.K. Rowling and I felt that the movies were pretty good.

    I haven't read the Game of Thrones books but we've been watching the series on HBO.

    Have you ever read Swan Song? I was always hoping for a movie, but then again I wonder if they would ruin the story..
