    skip is around.

    Also, I would say hi end audio in plano, magnolia in frisco, modia in frisco. there's also audio concepts in dallas.

    What kind of preamps were you looking at? Budget would also help.

    I could be way off base here but I don't think Marantz makes a preamp. I think they have an HT preamp but that's it.

    Never done a transaction with Skip but he as gave me plenty of advice on gears. I'm pretty sure he won't lead you in the wrong direction. Also Marantz did make a pre amp. Not to sure of the exact model (700?) but when I was doing my research on my Yamaha cxa 5000 the Marantz was mentioned plenty of time.
    Epson 3020 projector. Da Lite screen. Oppo 103. Yamaha CXA5000. B&K 7250ii. HSU VTF2. Def Tech Supercube 4000. Polk Rtia9 CsiA6 FxiA6. Monster hts 2600. Home theater.

    Bedroom consist of NHT model 2 powered by Parasound hca1200ii coming from my computer.

    Stuff laying around. Too much to list but don't want to sell either.

    I do have the Marantz 7005 preamp... it is intended for HT use, but I use it solely for 2 channel listening and enjoy it with my Polk LSiM 705s.
    I see @DSkip totems posted for sale and am so tempted.... just to try something other than Polks in the house...
