I just thought that I would make this little post about Norah Jones new album, FEELS LIKE HOME. I just got off the phone with my buddy over at Red Trumpet and he said that the SACD version of FEELS LIKE HOME has a release date in May, although he wasn't sure if it going to be 5.1 or not. They are already taking pre-orders. The SACD 5.1 version of COME AWAY WITH ME has a very nice. discrete surround mix, and Norah's vocals sound absolutely stunning on the SACD format. Also, her DVD called LIVE IN NEW ORLEANS, which was recorded at The House of Blues, is a great 5.1 mix with very exciting dynamics. The plus side of the DVD is that you get to see Norah perform, and she is as pleasent to look at as she is to hear.

I feel that Norah Jones is the first jazz superstar to hit the scene in many a year, and I wish her luck in all of her endeavers.

Norah is one of my new favorites. She is great to listen to when Im trying to calm down the newborn. The new album played through the yam 1400 using PLIIx sounds amazing. It sounds like it was recroded in full surround.
