Polk monitor 7

It's been quite awhile since I posted here on the Polk forum and after what transpired today I thought I would chime to a say hi and get an opinion.

I was speaking earlier, with a good buddy of mine and fellow CP member Carl (schwarcw), today about finally getting around to redoing my 7C's. We were discussing tweeter replacements, caps, costs etc;.

About an hour or so later I noticed on my local CL that there is a pair of 7A's for sale for a little more then the cost of a pair RDO-194's. I heard back from the seller and it turns out we know each other from previous audio selling/purchasing. He just moved and said they are still wrapped up and he will get back to me with pics so I can determine if they indeed have the peerless tweets.

My thought is instead of spending close to $100 on new tweeters why not just grab the 7A's with hopefully would be peerless tweets.

My questions are thus, would what I have listed below also be correct if I wind up getting the 7A's?

33uF 400V
12uF 200VDC
2.0 ohm (resistors)

Another question would 33uF 450VDC as opposed to 33uF 400V be okay?

TIA

I have 7b's with Peerless tweeters that I like a lot. When I rebuilt the crossovers I used a 34uf cap instead of the 33. Easier to find and with the tighter tolerances it is within spec of the originals. I just rebuilt a pair of 7c's for my brother using the 33uf, 12uf, 2 ohm resistor and replaced the polyswitch with a. 5 ohm resistor. He was on a tight budget so we used Dayton caps and Mills resistors, all from Parts Express. With shipping he was at $59.

Thanks for the reply, you mentioned replacing the polyswitch with a. 5 ohm resistor. Is this necessary? if so what does it add to the overall sound?
