there's nothing from the mid but the tweeter and woofers are working, hmmm sounds like a wire could be loose maybe. Are these new speakers was it working before and then stopped working?
  • yes the a9s are new and were working fine and then no mids.there is no distorsion or anything that would lead me to beleive that the speaker is blown which is why i thought it was the crossover.

Well seeing how they are new I would give Polk Customer Service a call.
I'm sure they will be happy to help you out.
Just curious what are you powering the speakers with? I used to own the 9's myself and they take a fair amount of power to sound there best.
  • i use a crown xls 2502.thanks for your help.

That story has been twisted a bit over time. The real story is that I got wood when I saw Eve.

I don't often drink beer, but when I do....It's usually the lighter beers. Modelo, Corona, along those lines. The heavier Ale's don't sit well with my stomach. Heineken or Special Ex, also good.

Oh, Listen here mister. We got no way of understandin' this world. But we got as much sense of this bird flyin in the sky. Now there is a lot that bird don't know, but it don't change the fact that the world is happening to him all the same. If you guys like those, you gotta try Sol if you haven't already.
I'm also a lighter beer guy these days, and only good for about 2/3 of a bottle before I start calling old girlfriends, and trying to convince my friends we should all buy a house together down at the beach.
