Yes Tony it is possible the best audio purchase I have made and have not regretted once. It wont bother me in the least if it does not sell, the money was going towards cc bill anyway. Bob.

Realistic, I have a new system that would make a great home for your HCA, what is your best price with shipping and paypal fees?

I would have to box it up and bring it to the ups store to get it weighed and measured. I have no idea what the PayPal fees would be I have never used it to sell. The most I will knock off is 25.00, I beat myself up financially selling the P-5 so cheap I really can't afford to do that again. It will have to be insured too. Thanks for your interest. Bob.

Hi guys I took the amp to the shop with me today to give it a dusting out with the blow gun. Well when I took the cover off I took my drop light and looked around and I think I found what appears to be a leaky cap and I could not in good conscious sell the amp to anyone like that so that being said the amp is no longer for sale. Thanks for understanding but I just wouldn't feel right selling it like that to someone who has worked hard to get the funds up to purchase something like this and have it be a problem a month down the road. Bob.

Recap it, I don't think it would be that big of deal. Skrol did a hca-1000 not to long ago. May be ask him the difficulty factor.

I put it back in use when I got home from work, still sounds good. I will take care of it in time I just did not want to sell it like that, good thing I pulled the top off don't want to sell something that could be faulty.

Located a tech about 2hrs from me he seems to think its some type of glue, he asked if there are any foul smells or different behavior in the amp and I told him no I am using it while on the phone with you. Going to bring it up to him Saturday morning to get her looked at.

I was wondering the same thing, the top of the black cap didn't look like it was swelled up? I'm sill puzzled because the area does look dark , like it had gotten hot perhaps?

It hasn't been pushed anywhere near its potential since I have owned it, I am gonna wait and see what Robert says Saturday he will be able to see it better in person. He did have me place a feeler gauge on its edge across the top of the cap to check for bulging and there is none.

Hi guys I am sure that the issue with the glue chased away any potential buyers, I took it to the repair shop I work at blew it out and put her back to work at home with the loaner system. So I will keep using it, it is a sweet amp you guys did great guiding me to this one. Please consider this topic closed, Bob.
