    Thats what I thought but I couldn't hammer down a standard gauge size from a reputable sources so I thought it best to leave it alone.

    Most aftermarket power cables are at least 12 gauge or lower, even the cheapest models (Pangea AC-14, Wireworld Stratus, PS-Audio AC-3 to name just a few).
