Yep, when that **** pulled out his phone at F1s expense causing a breakdown of civil society and the moral social order he quite obviously realized he had made a mistake.

    ^^^ police officer? that's a bit much

The officer is only called over if the patron won't leave...he's already onsite for security

That's my point why do they need a cop on site for security? don't security (guards) exist for that?

Unfortunately it's a prominent area and the rats come over and steal cars.

Actual police officers have been stationed at each theater since about...oh, 15 years ago. Something about "required public protection from lunatics who live to bully others..."?? Anyway, you can thank the nut that made that necessary for the increase in movie ticket prices to cover the cost.

In Wichita for the Malls and other places they use Policeman for security because the City doesn't pay them enough, called moonlighting... they need the extra $$ and who better to hire.

My old buddy Glen Fillmore who was a retired officer was over Security at the malls, he had 3 regular security officers (1 for each shift) the rest were cops or fireman!

Here in Houston, many of the big theatre chains will have 2 or 3 police officers in them. I know for a fact the AMC Willowbrook 24 theatre complex has a City of Houston police substation in the shopping center. I haven't been to a movie theatre in probably 12 or 13 years, safer just to stay at home and watch movies in the HT.

I actually love how the Alamo Drafthouse in TX runs things. It's pretty simple...you text or screw around on your cellphone during the movie and out you go! No second chances.

    How dare they.....such bullies.

With all the movie theater shootings that have happened I'm surprised there isn't more than one cop.
