    Got that right..... :)

He also needs to learn how to kiss a few frogs before he finds his Prince.....or Princess in this case.

Alright tony, I think we have known each other for what - a decade now?

I think I've learned that. This isn't my first time building a system.

I have been doing it wrong all these years. I always slept with the frogs.

That's alright. They're cute in their own way

I find this comment particularly insulting, a potshot.

Never said that the best is the most expensive.

I dont think its a potshot at all Joey, rather I think bluefox would have followed up his comment with a suggestion of shunyata. I have heard bluefox make the same suggestion to me before regarding the value for money you get with shunyata comapired to the more expensive brands of cables on the market when I was first getting into the more niche market brands in the high end.

Check out the MITs on Agon from Joe Abrams. He sells at half the MSRP and in a decent time period you can get most or all the cost back on a re-sale. MITs are truely special, don't doubt Jesse on this one. :)

Still, Joey is in that 2% that can actually afford the "high End" stuff. So, what if he changes gear with the seasons! LOL! Isn't that what the Big Boys Audiophiles do? (Damn! is his latest the most sexy out there!) Anyway,it goes against the culture to rib him for rotating high end gear for even more expensive high end gear...then tell him his cable suck! Then he drops a $6500 cable in a post and shots are fired again! WOW, some are hard to please on the internet....

Yeah, its all fun and games...but I'm sure Joey will figure it all out....and welcomes suggestions and help. Even PhD's are in practice....

If you do think about the demo program from the Cable Company, I would go to there Web site and ask for help.

Steve is awesome and will talk about what you have and give recommendations and talk to you about the demo program, and also if you do buy anything after talking to him or other there they will give you a discount for all purchase and even future purchase, I got all my Voodoo power cable from them

though most of the time I just use Doug and/or now Skip depending on what I after...

but if I am after something that the others don't carry I always get them from Steve & the Cable co.

Yeah, I need some sort of a demo program.

I am fortunate that my good friend turns out to be an audio dealer. He has AQ among others audio gear like B&W. I reached out to him recently and he said I could loan out some AQ from him when the time comes. He also carries WW, but no transparent.

And it will never be perfect! People around here are very passionate about cables that's for sure. I think the passion can come across a little harsh at times even though people mean well. Sometimes it's hard to comprehend through computer when people are razzing, a sentence or paragraph can be taken in more ways than one. Everyone has their brand, and they tend to push you in that direction. But what works well in their system might suck in yours. That's the tough thing about the cable rabbit hole.

Joey, you did say you wanted to try to recoup the spending on cables. Gear is set, and now as the upper half say we must have synergy w/ cables or the entire system CAN sound like ,well not as it should. When I heard there was a lending library, hey they are dispensing very expensive cables made from who knows what for high end cables this has to be the way to go. Yes there is a deposit. They are out laying expensive stuff w/ ends off all kinds
When I lived in Berkley they had a similar if not directly the same concept, only w/ gardening tools. They would lend out tillers, spreaders, ditch witches and even exotic hand tools. AH, what memories. Sorry if I left this world for a minute or 2.
