6 yr old Polk PSW110

My PSW110 makes a heartbeat type tapping sound even when no Line In is plugged in. What can I do to fix it ?

Welcome to Polk's forum. In all likelihood the bass amplifier will need repair, give Polk CS a call at 1-800-377-7655 for information on removal and location of service center. They'll take care of you.

I took the panel off and inspected the circuit board and found one bent touching other contacts. I bent it back straight and now it is working GREAT.

41 years, now retired from AT&T, 25 of it as a Electronic Technician paid off...LOL.

Awesome you got it working. Any idea what caused the bent contact after six years?
