Wiring PSW404 sub and LSi15 front speakers

I currently have the PSW404 sub wired to the front left/right speaker outputs of the amp (Sony STR-DA3000ES) and the LSi15 front speakers come off the sub. The speakers are set to "large" and "no sub" on the amp.

Should I be using the sub output on the amp (appears to be an RCA cable) and directly connect it to the sub and just have the front speakers on the speaker output?

I have to admit that the related equipment (speaker and amp) manuals are not very clear on this subject.

Thanks.

Polk says speaker wire. Most everybody on here will say sub cable. Try both and see what you like.

If your preference is more towards music, you may want to have the lsi's play independently from the 404. They are a great sounding speaker all by themselfs. Select sub yes ,front large. That way, when listening to movies you got the sub a thumping, or when listening to music, just use 2 channel mode on your receiver and you get the lsi's all by themselfs. Sweeeet. Experiment with different set-ups and see what you like.
