Oops got my first post wrong, that is not the donnie yen movie. Dragon is about donnie as a kung fu legend thats laying low in a town trying to pretend he is a regular guy but trouble follows.

This is the second detective dee movie and although and very good but the phantom flame is still the best.

Highly recommend The Last Emperor that came out around 1987. This movie was very good, won something like 9 Academy Awards.

There is a korean movie called 'A moment to remember or Forget me not? I am unsure as they changed the title for the western release. Anyways its a movie that really does have you fighting back the tears, I kid you not! If you can watch it without shedding a tear you got something wrong with you! Its basicaly kinda like the Notebook in Korean but much better and super hardcore as there is no glamerising the disease and it really shows a raw reality of how it creeps up and how it can affect younger people who get it.

The last emporer is a great movie!

I grew up watching Asian movies, mostly Japanese anime, Power Ranger type super hero shows (Ultraman, etc), Godzilla, and Chinese martial art movies. I'll watch any genres, but I have a soft spot for martial art movies, yakuza/triad/gangster action, and horror.

The bean dance scene in House of Flying Daggers was my favorite surround sound demo track for many years. Love the Detective Dee movies, also check out Flying Swords of Dragon Gate, Shaolin (with Andy Lau), Kung Fu Jungle (also called Kungfu Killer - Donnie Yen), Special ID, The Lost Bladesman, Legend of the Fist: The Return of Chen Zhen, 14 Blades, Bodyguards and Assassins, An Empress and the Warriors, Dragon Tiger Gate, Seven Swords, The Viral Factor, Invisible Target, Flash Point, SPL, Once Upon a Time in Shanghai, and of course the Ip Man movies. The HK Bluray of Ip Man 3 is the first Chinese movie to have a DTS:X soundtrack.

I also watch Bollywood, but that's another topic in and of itself :)

    Tony Jaa in "Ong Bak"
One of my personal favorites Ken for the full contact no holds barred no saftey net action scenes. I was dissatisfied with the other ong bak movies but fear not as Tony jaa is returning for the remake of the Van Dam classic Kickboxer!

I agree, the other Ong Bak movies became bloated and over-the-top and even drove Tony to retire and become a monk.
I can always watch Jet Li's "Fist of Honor" or anything of Steven Chow's, not to mention Sonny Chiba or Sammo Hung.
