Speaker calibration with SDAs. With or without interconnect?

What is the general consensus about running speaker calibration with SDAs? Is it better to run the tests with the interconnect unplugged or not? I'm thinking that maybe when it's plugged in the software may try to correct some of the SDA effect, but if unplugged the software is not reading the true sound signature of the speakers. Any thoughts?

I tried doing it both ways and got the same results.
    Over boosted highs.
That's fine for watching movies with the THX processing enhaged, for music though it is unlistenable. I just switch to direct mode or pure mode to switch all of the processing off.

Won't hurt to try both ways, but my guess is either way your still going to have to make some manual adjustments afterwards anyway. Calibration programs hardly ever get everything spot on to your tastes.

I've tried it multiple times both ways, and always end up going with the Interconnect plugged in.

I do the same thing. All processing engaged for Home Theater, but pure direct for 2 channel.
