Lamest Rock Band ever?

I think that I have effectively suppressed most memories of the really bad ones that were terribly embarassing but The Bay City Rollers come to mind

Laffs, my brother had the Rollers. He also had some steppenwolf and foghat in his 8 track collection. To this day I never knew what type of gap he was trying to bridge... :o

Speaking of Gene Simmons -- KISS was, from my perspective, a rather large, Kabuki-theatre makeup-wearing waste of space.

PS Please put a check next to the "Rush hater" box on my rap sheet. Thanks!

Mr. Hardy, you hate all music. You don't like Pink Floyd. You don't like Yes. You don't like Rush. ;)

Listening to Leslie West's version of singing (yelling) today made me think that here's someone that's pretty lame.........If he'd only keep his mouth shut and play the guitar

Just to be clear :- ) there is plenty of Pink Floyd and Yes that I like. There's some I don't -- Yes jumped the shark for me after (actually more like during) "Close to the Edge", and Roger Waters (even though I'll admit to having considerable admiration for him) ran Pink Floyd into the ground. Also, I got tired of many of the warhorses from both bands being horrifically overplayed on the radio ('specially "Dark Side of the Moon").

Now Rush. Them I just don't like. Never did. Nothing there for me. De gustibus non est disputandum.

This guy. This guy I like. Not lame. Nope. ;- )

Definitely a band I didn't "get" (as they say).

Twisted Sister....although I did chuckle at the video, Yes, I watched MTV when MTV was born and they actually showed music videos continuously. Those were fun days.

By the way, there are many other lame rock bands from the 80s. The music became heavily electronically processed with an overabundance of keyboards and synthesizers. A little is great, too much is fingernails on the chalkboard. Twisted Sister was not a heavy synth band....they just sucked  No offense to you "twisted" fans.

I understand why some would put Kiss on the list but they have been serving millions for over four decades, they are the band that got me into music as a very young lad, I could never put them on that list...
