Thinning the herd. I have a nice Parasound HCA-750A power amp. 175.00 shipped.
75 watts RMS x 2, 20 Hz-20 kHz, 8 W, both channels driven
125 watts RMS x 2, 20 Hz-20 kHz, 4 W, both channels driven
Continuous Power Output - Mono
250 watts RMS, 20 Hz-20 kHz, 8 W

    Pardon my lousy camera and photographic skill, but here are the photos of the amp. There are a couple scratches on top, but otherwise, this is clean, great sounding little amp. I don't think you will be disappointed :smile:

    Would this be ok to use as a center speaker amplifier. Would that be called mono? Im not good with HT & how amps work on the center

    I have one of these amps and tried using one channel (not bridged) for the center speaker. Sounded pretty good, but switched it out for a Outlaw mono 200 watt amp.

    What center are you powering? May not be necessary to run in mono. Mono greatly increases distortion and works the amp harder.

    I have not attempted to hook the amp up in this manner. This is a link to the manual.

    Although I am sure this is possible (Y adapters?), hopefully there are fellow polkies who have done this and will tell you the best way. I'm just a boring 2 channel guy :smile:

    It's cool. You don't have an obligation to keep bumping. I am sure someone will be willing take this off my hands either here, fleabay, or on CL. I would obviously like to pass it on to a Polkie who can appreciate how well Polk and Parasound go together.

    No, unfortunately it was an ebayer. I hadn't sold anything in a long time and I didn't know about the new dimension shipping that Fedex and UPS are using. 40 bucks just for UPS ground for a 21 pound box. I took a beating on the deal...oh well, live and learn. The free shipping days on bulky items are over :(

    No u just go into PayPal and try to use ups and I think it gives the option to create a ups business account. I can look back at my emails and double check the process is someone is really interested.
