I've made contact with the seller about a week ago, at that time he wasn't interested in a "reasonable" offer. I might try to touch base with him again...

If they were local I would tip him an extra $50 for helping me load themPOLK SDA 2.3 TLS BOUGHT NEW IN 1990, Gimpod/Sonic Caps/Mills RDO-198

What does one consider reasonable? Reasonable is what the seller is willing to take for the product and the buyer is willing to pay.

To me, reasonable is what they are worth, in the condition they are in. These are not "Original Owner, Mint condition" speakers, they are used and abused.
-
Then the seller could be un-reasonable, Keep looking.

I got my 3.1tl's from a "reasonable" seller for $350 a few months ago.
There ya go
-
I think $600 is reasonable. $350 is a steal. And they produce $3,000 worth of sound.

Your absolutely right, if I didn't already have a pair of fully modded 3.1's, I would have popped on these.

Yeah, that's what I keep telling myself but I still get tempted when a pair comes up for sale that are located anywhere close.
I almost pulled the trigger on the 3.1's just to have a "back-up" pair, see how I think?

Sweet! I have a pair setting in a closet waiting for their turn in the rotation after the modded 1.2tl's and the 2.3tl's.I've thought about selling them and using the money to upgrade the rest of my system but haven't made up my mind yet because they sound so good.Congrats on the purchase!!2 Channel

Awesome Paul, man I'm glad you picked those up!!! I enjoy your old pair every day!
You were spot on when you said the 3.1's were special, they have just about kicked my 2.3TL's to the curb.
Enjoy bud!

Thanks guys! I will need to pick up a 6511 to make them complete but these r my favorite SDA speakers and will b worth the effort.SRS 3.1TL
