Speaker Cable Hook up on vintage SRS-SDA's

As we all know there are 4 binding posts per speaker on the SDA lineup. In a conventional hookup (non bi-amped) I've been using the upper posts for hookup with jumper of course. As I'm in an upgrade right now I was wondering if it mattered whether one used the upper or lower binding post and why. With all you Polk Gurus out there can someone provide a real and logical answer to why one would choose one over the other?

If you have quality jumpers, not the original Polk, there should be no difference.
I would add, the cables should go to the bottom binding posts.Home Theater/2 Channel:

YOU HAVE A KRELL?!?!
HATRED
JEALOUSY!!!
(*snicker*)
Anyhoo I also own a pair of 3.1TL's and have never been able to detect a difference between using the upper or lower binding posts when single wiring with the jumpers.
I would LOVE to hear what these things sound like with some Krell bass! -
Btw in the SDA lineup ONLY the Signature series SDA-SRS loudspeakers had dual binding posts.

Yo Honestaquarian, they did sound sweet with the Krell, in upgrade mode right now, we'll hear after upgrade and I'll provide an opinion then.

Hey man
I was wondering what your opinion of them with the Krell now that you have done the upgrades? -
^^I think the Krell went up in smoke^^The best way to predict the future is to invent it.
It is imperative that we recognize that an opinion is not a fact. -
Krell back and connected. All I can say is that all the mods made to the Polk was worth the effort and expense. They have never sounded sweeter. And yes the amp definitely contributes to sound quality. While the Krell was out I used an Adcom 555II which was ok but really not to up to par with the Krell.
