Help with Instagram

When I go and hit that little envelope in the top right corner to post, then it goes to the next screen which says "hit the + symbol to post a video, picture or message" all it does is take me to my Instgram contact list. It used to take me to my pictures on my phone. I cannot figure out how to get out of this messaging option to get to the pics. Anyone?

iOS or Android?
I'm on Android and for me, the top right icon is to send a direct message to someone. The bottom middle button of a circle in a square is the button to upload and then choose "Gallery" (pics already on phone), "Photo" (take a new picture), or "Video" (take a new videoGod shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. - Romans 5:8 -

Today you can publish live stories on Instagram. But this tool should be used with regularity. You can also do different surveys. Post new and interesting things, but don't overload your account with the nonsense. All these steps will also help to multiply Instagram views. There are many affordable ways for efficient online promotion. But you need to use them wisely. Otherwise, you may get an unexpected effect.
