What the heck was up with Manning and his "drink lots of Budweiser" comment? It's not one of his sponsors, supposedly. Seemed very out of place and contrived.

I'm torn on this as I would love to see him play again. I'd like to see the Manning who throws for 300 + yards and 3 -4 Touchdowns. That guy didn't exist this year.
Going out a champion is Elway style and a good style at that as this part of me loves that he would retire on top.
But I think the Bronco's are still going to be a serious contender next year as long as they keep the team in tact, beef up the Offense line and leave the Defense alone.
Brock will or should start next year, they should draft a new backup QB or find one around the league who looks promising for a solid back up.
I've been a very long time Bronco fan and watch them get killed in the Super Bowl and win 3. Each game except the Falcon game was a total Nail biter. This game was no different.
I thought at any time the Panthers where going to have a break out drive and score. But the Bronco Defense is probably the best I've ever seen except Seattle's of a few years ago. I think they are as good and in some ways a better Defense then they where. I wonder how they compare?
Anyway what a season, every single game went exactly like this Super Bowl. No game seemed like the Broncos locked it up until the last few seconds. Even then I was on the edge of my seat all season long. Thank God I have a healthy Heart.

Athletes eat and live clean most of the time so Winning the Super Bowl Manning just said he was going to drink lots of bud. Hey man that just might be his beer of choice. I'm no Bud fan but there are tons of people who are. I don't think you need to be sponsored to like anything in his position. Maybe he's trying to get one for future income? He did take a pay cut this year.

Congrats to Denver, like I said.....if that defense showed up again they had as good a chance as anyone. Cam got knocked around the whole game, something he's not used to. I was very disappointed in his interview after the game. He sat there pouting like a 10 year old, not a good sign of a leader. He reminds me a lot of Mike Vick, always wanting to be the hero instead of a team player/leader.

I'm not a Panthers fan but man that interview was horrible. You made it to the big game and someone is going to have to lose. Denver's defense is something special to shut them down like that. WOW what a defense performance.
He really needs to grow up and be more professional. They will be back next year most likely. They have an outstanding team unless they make some bad moves in the off season, I can't see why they don't come right back next year.

BTW.....the half time show, better than Katy Perry's roar of last year but the only talented person on that stage was Bruno Mars.

Also, the announcers had to be the worst I can remember. They were blowing smoke up Cam Newtons rear end all game up to the middle of the 4th quarter. Even said that it was Cam throwing the ball so hard that his receivers couldn't hold on. When he over shot a receiver, it was the receivers fault or Cam just "threw it away".

I wasn't accusing him of anything, I just thought it pretty odd. I am a big PM fan and am glad he's going out (if he's going out) on a high note.

I just thought it was odd and apparently, from the tweets, I wasn't the only one. Supposedly he repeated his on field comment at the awards ceremony afterwards, but I didn't stay up for that.

Exactly! All season long he had no problem french kissing his arm in the end zone and proclaiming..."If you don't like me doing this, then keep me out of the end zone."

Thats precisely what Denver did and the cry baby couldn't handle it.

The classy QB won this matchup.
    No excuses!
