New Cables On The Way

Nightfall, I think you have made a very smart investment in your rig, congrats!

You must spend more time listening to tunes...
Indeed I do. Everyday, at least an hour on days I have to work (even if it's a 13 hour work day for me) and if I don't have to work 4-6 hours on average but sometimes even more. The better 2 channel performance I get the more I seem to devote time to listening. When I was running the RTA-12B's off a Yamaha RX-V667 AVR I would sometimes go days without listening.Mike Reeter wrote: »Nightfall, I think you have made a very smart investment in your rig, congrats!
Me too. Unless something significant happens as far as my income or I run into an extremely good deal on Shotguns in the future these are definitely 'end game' cables for me.afterburnt wrote: »They didn't speak a word of English, they were from South Carolina.

Congrats on the Cables, I haven't got to hear MIT Coat-hangers yet but I hope to try them out someday!
I know once you start piecing a nice system together you do spend more & more time listen to them... It is now my favorite way to spend my free time.2 ch- Polk CRS+ * Vincent SA-31MK Preamp * Vincent Sp-331 Amp * Marantz SA8005 SACD * Project Xperience Classic TT * Sumiko Blue Point #2 MC cartridge

When I finally finished outfitting my rig with the MIT's, that's one box that will stay "checked" for a good long while.
N'joy!

Yay!
1 pair of MIT StyleLine SL12's for my SDA 2B's

Believe me, I feel the same way. The network box will be cut out and SpeakOn added to all 4 ends so I will end up with two 6ft cables with SpeakOn to go from each speaker to the Dreadnaught.afterburnt wrote: »They didn't speak a word of English, they were from South Carolina.

Out with the trash, in with the new. Wonder which IC's will sound better?
Also replacing the stock PC on my tube preamp with a Pangea

You better go with a slow start-up from those .75 cent black RCA's! You're in for a happy shock I think!VA HT HK AVR20II, Sony S9000ES CD/DVD/SACD, Polk Audio RC80i / Polk Audio CSi3, 60" Panasonic Plasma, Nordost / Signal Cable A2 / Wireworld / Pangea / Magic Power

Ditto that lol. I don't think I ever saw anyone go from those cables that came with your walmart dvd player to MIT. Give them a good 200 hours to burn in and they'll sound even better.HT SYSTEM-

I'm hoping for a @DK type review of the CH vs MIT and of course the interconnects.
