Can't you just use an RCA-RCA cable ? Going balanced to RCA negates the benefit of balanced imho.HT SYSTEM-

Well, hunted around but only have XLR to 3/8 so far...

Going from XLR output to RCA input is tricky. There are three (or 4) types of XLR outputs and one adapter won't work for all of them.

I'm going from a Dared to the Behringer DCX2496. No choice at this moment. -

That would be smart. Thanks! -
I got mine from a seller on Audiogon. I can't remember his name, use the search feature and you can probably find him.If you can't hear a difference, don't waste your money.

I have used a set of xlr cables with one end cut off and the RCA terminator soldered on for my Rane external xover for some years. No apparent negative issues to report.Main Rig:
Krell KAV 250a biamped to mid/highs
Parasound HCA1500A biamped to lows
Nakamichi EC100 Active xover
MIT exp 1 ic's
Perreaux SA33 class A preamp
AQ kingcobra ic's
OPPO 83 CDP
Lehmann audio black cube SE phono pre, Audioquest phono wire (ITA1/1)
Denon DP-1200 TT. AToc9ML MC cart.
Monster HTS 3600 power conditioner
ADS L1590/2 Biamped
MIT exps2 speaker cable -
I'm understanding that they're coming out wit a x'over box that will eliminate bi-amping and the need for the Behringer so I won't need the adapters. Thank god I didn't buy any.
