    I have heard ayre vx5 non twenty, the vx5 twenty, and the Classe m600 through Rockport Aviors.

    Best sound went to VX5 twenty then Classe M600 then the VX5 nontwenty.

    The non twenty had this somewhat abrasive character to it that was completely gone with the twenty series.

    The Classe m600 was stellar as always, nice layering and good foundation. Imaging was a wash between the twenty series vx5 and the m600.

    On the 800D2, I tried out the Classe vs the ayre non twenty.

    I had to cut the demo short and just go back to Classe.

    But that's my opinion. YMMV

    some people won't believe this but this amp is very sensitive to power cords. this is going to be so much fun. :D
