Didn't they used to be the... LA Rams?
Heck, next thing you know they'll be bringing back the Mustang, Camaro, and Challenger...

Yes, they were the LA Ram's for over 40 years. I'm not liking this at all. I guess I could go to games when they play a team I want to see, but tickets have gone up a lot in 21 years. The biggest bummer is when they sell out their home games I'm stuck having to watch them on TV. :/

Maybe I'll get season tickets so I can root for the away team! LOL

    all of the above.

The FWD Cords (particularly the "coffin nose"models) were particularly remarkable. I don't think they are easily retrofitted with airbags, though ;-)

Man, a lot of hate in this room! I'm not happy about this either but I'm not going call people garbage. I do my best to stay out of LA, but I don't have any hate for it. It's just a pain in the **** to get around in a car.

Geez, you guys need to chill or we'll all start bashing city after city, and that's not right.

Saint Louisan's never warmed up to the Rams. The move of the Cardinals to Arizona was a punch in the gut, they still haven't gotten over. Thankfully for me, being born & raised in STL, and then moving to Arizona---it worked out well for me.

Apparently if the Chargers don't want to share the stadium with them in 2017, then the Raiders could still move to back to LA.

I've been to L.A. a few times. East L.A......not a thing standing not plastered with graffiti. If you stand too long in one spot, you'll get spray painted.

Hollywood is kind of a dump, Sunset ave., yuck. Then you cross an imaginary line into Beverly Hills and it's all nice like you see on TV. Literally....one block you go from scum to big bucks. West L.A. is OK, not somewhere I'd care to go again though. Malibu.....never had worst service in my life eating in Malibu......horrible food too and way over priced.

I really hope the Chargers and Raiders don't make the move. LA couldn't handle 2 NFL teams back in the day, so I don't think they could support 2 teams today either.

I still haven't gotten over the Colts pulling out of Baltimore one snowy late evening -- or was it very early morning? -- and I haven't even lived in Charm City since 1989...

the only good thing about the Rams return is I might just get a chance to see my Vikings play when they come to L.A.

After the **** the taxpayers in St. Louis got from building the Rams dome the 1st time and the fact they now were demanding another new one, they weren't going to put up too much of a fight to keep them.

That's what I was thinking too. Its been a long time since I've been to an NFL game. I think the last one I saw was at Anaheim Stadium, Cowboys vs Rams, when Emmitt was a rookie.

This really isn't true. The city and state spent millions on a taskforce and developed detailed plans to build and finance a new stadium (including corporate sponsors) to keep the Rams.

The NFL, however, told lies upon lies letting the leadership here think there was even a chance to keep them. This move to LA has been in the works for at least 5 years when the NFL gave Stan Kroenke the special exemption to have cross-ownership of markets. This deal has been in the bag for years but the NFL let Missouri waste millions in this charade. Pretty heartless if you ask me.

I was really disappointed when St. Louis lost the Cardinals to Phoenix. I thought perhaps there would eventually be a name change for the Arizona team. When Houston lost our Oilers to Tennessee they kept the Oilers name for a season or so(?) ,then changed it to the Titans. Fans here in Houston had gotten so sick of Bud Adams , the owner of the Houston Oilers , decision making on the team, that it didn't surprise us when the Oilers left. The glory days of Luv Ya Blue had been gone for a number of years, along with the great coach and great players of that time period. What exactly led to the Cardinals leaving St. Louis back then?

August Busch refused to build them a new stadium. The cards play at the time was pretty pityful, and Buschs' argument was that they couldn't fill the stadium they had, so why build a new one.

Trivia: Nevermind, I was wrong. The Cardinals are however THE oldest NFL team, founded in 1898.

Not much evidence of "heart" manifested by the NFL in general.

We're getting too OLD for this kind of thing. Anyone remember Rosey Grier?? Yeah, L.A. Rams, who EVER thought they would MOVE, to ST. Louis, REALLY! And the Colts NOT in Baltimore? Right! The Cards in Arizona? lol

I have an IDEA, why don't we OUTSOURCE NFL teams to China. We can have the Beijing Giants, and the Shanghai Jets, the Guangzhou Bengals? Since we can move Capital and labor ANYWHERE and that's profit, why should we care if our teams all become Chinese! Isn't that what we're working with these days! May God have mercy on our souls! Where's that "unreadable" Rand novel, I know I threw it in a pile somewhere around here a few decades ago. Poor Ayn, she had a "religious" conversion to the land she escaped to. Born again, and "green" no less! lol
