I can't believe I was just talking about his Ziggy Stardust film on here yesterday and now today he is dead. They say he had been battling cancer for the past 18 months. I didn't even know he had cancer.

He just released a new album and it sounds pretty-good. It's a shame.

He will be missed.

I miss a lot of the artists that have passed recently, but this one truly hurts...

My #1 concert claim to fame was seeing Bowie's U.S. debut in Cleveland's Music Hall.
It was his Ziggy tour and he killed.

I need to go spin an old friend and say goodbye...

Oh no love! You're not alone

    More later,

Just getting over the loss of Natalie Cole....and now, David Bowie??

I didn't know he was even sick, especially given his recent album (his latest was just released last week).

    RIP Mr. Jones

    Little did I know....

Thank you for all of your innovative music, Mr. Bowie.

He was one of the most-influential artists of my generation. That's for sure.

    He will be missed.

I'm going to have to buy his final album that was just released last Friday too. I've been watching the music vids all weekend.

I'm definitely getting that Ziggy Stardust DVD too.

On Saturday I was listening to his new album.
I'm sure his spaceship knows which way to go.
RIP David Bowie. A major loss to the real music industry.

R.I.P. old boy, you've certainly earned it. I remember him singing with Bing Crosby on a Christmas show . Used to crank__ up the song Fame , especially at the end of the song with the word "fame" being repeated as it dropped in pitch.
