Flim and the BB's are a unusual jazz band with a lot of percussion. Plus they are recorded by DMP . If you haven't ever listened to a DMP recording you have a treat comming. Some of the best recorded cd's ive ever heard. The music is great as well. Can be found on flea bay allmost anytime, they have quite a following. Also I use it for reference music when evaluating equipment. Also if you like jazz try a little "Hiroshima ".

I have Flim & the BB's "Tricycle" on the way. I look forward to hearing it. Looks like Jimmie Johnson plays bass on it. I love his bass guitar on James Taylor albums with his deep, well defined sound. I'm sure he will be great on Tricycle as well.

Not aware of the japan referance. You may have a diff pressing my copy is # is cd 443 as well but says N.Y. but as long as it is DMP recorded. They are in the similar class to Windham Hill studios and sheffield labs, i buy almost anything mastered by them. You will be gobsmacked at the recording quality. If your not fimilier with DMP they are one of the premier recording studios and do fantastic mastering.
