Glad to hear she's doing better. That's also a good sign that she's being feisty and does not want to be syringe fed I'm thinking. My cat wasn't fond of me doing that but I didn't need a cat jacket. Good luck to you on Friday

Good to see she's doing better but understand the feeling. My fur children are my kids to me and are a part of my family. Hope she has a speedy recovery!

She's made a full recovery. Our vet is very impressed as many people wouldn't have fought as hard as we did to keep her going and just made the easy decision that didn't require work.

Skye loves her Sophie and she's gonna be around for a long time.

Thanks for all the prayers and wishes!

Awesome news Dan! Cats are great. We have 2 'rescues' from our local ASPCA. I came home last Friday from a few days on the road teaching... family was acting kind of antsy... I hear a cat, assumed it was one of our two, but it sounded different... did a double-take, and here's a new rescue. My wife and kids burst out laughing. Me, not being too happy about a third cat asked what was going on. They said they were 'fostering' it. Needless to say, after this weekend, he's one of the nicest cats, and looks like he'll be staying for good now. UGH!

But yeah, they are family, and are especially loved by the kids. Glad to hear your feline family member is back to normal!

That photo reminds me of the black cat we have, him and his sis were abandoned near our place and we took them in. Jack also wound up in a cast at about 6 months old, turns out he is one of the best cats we have ever had(and that's saying a lot from this dog lover). He runs to meet me at my car when I come home from work and frequently goes for walks through the woods when I take our 2 dogs.
Such a bad feeling when they are ill/injured but such a good feeling when we know they'll be OK.
